Here is how this works in practice. We staff shoots in Malta across each department, from heads of department to dailies. Our team draws on a local crew base that has serviced global features, series and commercials for decades, and we know its depth and its limits honestly. For a standard feature or series unit we crew big from the island. For large-scale shoots running many units or heavy construction, we plan early to supplement from Sicily, mainland Italy and the UK, all reachable fast and — for EU nationals — without work-permit friction under EU freedom of movement.

Here is the short of it. We handle openings, deal memos, rate deal-making and the contract and payroll forms, and we set up the practical side of bringing in non-resident crew: travel, lodging and the compact-island logistics that keep all within reach of base.
