Here is how this works in practice. We check your production's power needs and source fitting options from local providers, whether that means super-silent power packs for sound-sensitive scenes, high-capacity units for large lighting setups, or battery systems for remote locations. Our team calculates total load, designs the right way, power packs, tie-in or a combination, and manages delivery, fuelling and tech support across the shoot. We stock V-mount and Gold mount batteries for cameras and extras, and block batteries for larger gear.

Here is the short of it. Mains power on the islands is 230V/50Hz on UK-style three-pin plugs, a legacy of British rule that simplifies tie-ins for UK crews. Malta's power packs and power inventory covers most shoots. But for large or pro needs we supplement gear from Sicily. The Italian mainland, or from UK suppliers, with gear moving carnet-free within the EU. We work with qualified Maltese electricians skilled in film production and keep backup power on call given the short distances between locations.
